MEET THE TEAM
	Rachel Teresa Ivanovich, MBA, EA Rachel is the founder and Chief Leadership Officer of Easy Life Management, Inc. She is a business coach, an Enrolled Agent and earned an MBA from San Diego State University with an emphasis in Finance and Taxation in 2010. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Rachel and her family moved over 40 times by the time she was 30 years old. Selected to represent the USA in Germany in 1988 by the Congress-Bundestag Youth for Understanding program, Rachel developed a love for other cultures and a deep empathy for peoples of different backgrounds. After spending a decade of her life living in Germany, Rachel and her two children landed in Carlsbad, California. Longing to put down roots, live more simply and find a place to call home, Rachel started a tax practice and named the fledgling business Easy Life Management (ELM). After having grown the original tax practice and business management firm to over 700 clients and a team of six, Rachel transitioned more than half of her tax practice in 2019 to another tax advisory firm to follow her lifelong dream of helping fellow entrepreneurs to develop their vision, grow their businesses and live to their full potential. Rachel is married to a California native and is the mother of five amazing young adults. Community service is one of Rachel's biggest passions. She serves as Vice-Chair for the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation and is a board member for the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. She is also an active member of the Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Club. She is extremely dedicated to working with young adults and empowering them to launch and grow their own businesses. She and her team teach financial literacy and other life skills through a variety of programs. In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, Cole, her friends and family, outdoor activities and is currently learning to play the cello!
	Noriko Moore, EA Noriko is an Enrolled Agent. She joined the ELM Team in 2012. Before working for ELM, Noriko worked as a stock trader and an accountant at a number of financial institutions in both US and Japan. She then worked at a CPA office in La Mesa. In her free time, Noriko enjoys cooking, traveling, going to the gym and spending time with her daughter and her dog.
	Brian Brentlinger, CPA Brian is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed by the state of Colorado. Brian received his undergraduate and Master's degrees in Accounting from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Brian joined the ELM team in 2021, and has been helping small business owners with their tax and accounting needs since 2016. Before starting his career in public accounting and taxation, Brian worked as a surf instructor and lifeguard in Encinitas, and as a mechanic for Porsche in the classic car division. Originally from North County, Brian and his wife Kimberly now live in Colorado where they split their time between Colorado Springs and Crawford. When not at work, you can find Brian snowboarding, fishing, and hiking throughout the mountains of Colorado.
	Sarah Simko, MSA Sarah has worked in the fields of accounting, tax, banking, and academia over the past 10 years. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Business and Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She expects to complete requirements for licensure as a Certified Public Accountant in 2025. Sarah enjoys living with her husband Jerry and dog Betty among the trees in Howard, Colorado. When she comes out of her forest home, it is usually to connect with friends, enjoy live music, instruct an accounting class, savor a mountain drive, or engage in outdoor adventure and sports.
	Paula Wetter Paula is the bookkeeper. She joined the ELM Team in 2014. Before working for ELM, Paula worked as a bookkeeper and in customer service for a commercial insurance brokerage. She graduated with a BA in Biological Anthropology from UCSD. In her free time, Paula enjoys spending time on her front porch with her family, friends and dogs.
	Kristen Bateman Kristen is ELM’s Office Manager and is a Certified Business and Life Coach. She has joined the team in 2019. Before working with the ELM team, Kristen worked in business management/mentor for 22 years in Texas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 dogs and entertaining friends.
	Grace Shelley Grace is ELM’s Creative Engineer; Resident Artist; and “Girl Friday.” She joined the ELM team in 2017. Grace worked for many years as an administrative assistant for Edward Jones in Canada and the US as well as in the non-profit sector building community. In her “free time” she serves at her local church; cycles by the coast daily; and is growing her business Grace Shelley Art — Custom Art for Homes and Businesses.

Just to be clear. This is no ordinary business management and coaching company. We’ve got ATTITUDE and it’s contagious. We want you to get more out of life. And this is the team who can help you make that happen.

Noriko Moore, EA
